It’s funny how spending time with younger people always brings up memories of your own past. Now, I’m not an old hen (yet) but running around Legacy West and The Star with Britton and her mom Cassie brought back all of the feel-good memories of afternoons with my own mom and sisters.

Britton is a bright and happy (now) 16 year old navigating the new normal of COVID-19. We talked about school, and this awesome young lady could not stop seeing the silver lining of her situation. Between spending more time with her family, she told me that she connected with more people than she could have had school been in session.

We stopped to grab some strawberry gelato on the way up to the top of the parking building for some sunset shots. This young lady was a blast to photograph and her beauty shines from the inside out!
