While I have a hankering for stunning couples sessions, it's good every now and again to have your skills tested by some rowdy three year olds and a spunky nine year old!
I was visiting family in Little Rock, Arkansas, and my cousin Rebecca asked if I could photograph the youngest of her crew: Lilly and the twins. Rebecca took these three amazing little ones when tragedy struck our family a few years ago and their mother died shortly after giving birth to the twins, Harley and Anthony. Not only has Rebecca remained a strong and impressive working mom, she's always up for a small adventure and she makes sure that these three know they're loved each and every day.
We hung around a park near Downtown Little Rock and even got to visit the gorgeous Little Rock Bridge which is accessible to pedestrians. It's a great spot to watch the sunset or sunrise if you ever visit Little Rock!
The boys brought along their favorite dinos, and Lilly was the best big sister as she played with the boys and made sure they were smiling pretty for the camera. Halfway through the session, Rebecca brought out balloons and some cupcakes so that we could get some shots for the twin's fourth birthday! They were more excited about the cupcakes than the balloons, but after some convincing they were more than excited to pose for a few shots.
Everyone was rewarded with a quick visit to the park to climb on some equipment and go down the slide a few times before it got too dark - needless to say it was a busy afternoon!
