I am thankful enough to have met Shelby at work. We were on the same team together, and she is such a light spirit that when she asked if we could a photo shoot of her and her wife of two years, Jerlisa, I jumped at the chance!

Although Shelby and Jerlisa are on the shyer side of life, together they absolutely shine. With her bad puns and wide smile, Shelby kept a stunning grin on Jerlisa's face the entire session. They told me about their life growing up in Guam and if you ever meet Shelby - ask her about Jungle Chickens. 

Near the end of our session, Shelby and Jerlisa invited me out for dinner, so we headed back to their place, where they keep their motorcycles. As we had a little light left and no one was (completely) dying of hunger, we motored up to the roof at their apartment building in Las Colinas and grabbed a few shots of the gorgeous wives with their bike. 

Fun fact: every year in LA there is a Pride Parade that features lesbians on motorcycles called Dykes on Bikes. It's Jer and Shelby's dream to roll with the rest of those stunning ladies as they promote love for all people. I am beyond pumped that Shelby and Jerlisa chose me to be their photographer and I hope to photograph them again in the future.
