Gettin' Hitched with the Vandergriffs
I had hoped - I had dreamed even - and finally, it was here: my first virtual wedding!
An old work colleague, Kylie, reached out to me about photographing her best friend Erin’s wedding. Now, as I already tell everyone who will listen, I’m a hopeless romantic. It’s not unusual that I beg couples to tell me how they met, or about the first time they said the big L - so I think it’s needless to say that I’m obsessed with weddings.
Ryan and Erin are madly in love, and have two of the cutest pets in the world (I mean, all pets are cute though so…). Soft classical music played in the background while Kylie Facebook Lived their wedding ceremony performed by another close friend of theirs, Reggie. Friends and family commented and cried as these two had one of the most lovely ceremonies I have ever gotten to witness (yes, I 100% cried), and afterward, we headed out into the heat to grab some shots of the newlyweds.
It was simply perfect and sweet and wonderful. I’m so thankful to have been able to share in such a happy day and I wish many happy moments for the new couple in their years together.
