Michael and Gene
The fabulous thing about having had the opportunity to work in the corporate world is all of the amazing people I have been able to meet as well as the people who love them.
Michael and I met at my last job on the first day of training. He sat next to me and, much like the first day of school, went through all of the weird small talk that happens when people are stuck together in a training environment. Thankfully though, Michael and I became fast friends, and I am so thankful to say that even though I have moved on from the place where I met Michael, I can still call him my friend.
I was excited when Michael invited me to come to one of his theater’s showcases out in Richardson, and delighted to meet Michael’s partner, Gene. Gene and Michael definitely complete one another - and I think that shows through in the photographs from our session. They’ve been together going on 8 years, and I can say that they have the kind of understanding of each other that only comes from deepest respect for a person and love.
